Star Wars VIII Finds Its Female Lead — Which Of These Fan Favorites Reportedly Landed The Coveted Role?
In an office far, far away, the people behind Star Wars VIII just made a pretty big casting decision.
While we knew that John Boyega was already ready to reprise his role for the 2017 film, it looks like Disney found its new leading lady Thursday morning.
It came down to a pretty amazing shortlist of today's hottest actresses — including Gina Rodriguez, Tatiana Maslany, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw — but in the end, there could only be one.
So who will be locking lips with John in Episode VIII?? It's…
It's almost TOO cute!
The 23-year-old posted a precious pic (above) of himself giving the Scream star a sweet smooch right on the cheek, but it's really the caption that melted our hearts! He wrote:
"Happy 18th Birthday to my beautiful and incredible princess. You are such a wonderful, Kind, generous, loving person and you are insanely important to me. Thank you for being that special person in my life that I always wish I could have and for being the best girlfriend on the planet. You have never failed to make me smile or laugh and I hope this year brings you everything you wish for."
This sappy statement comes only a few months after the cute couple became romantically linked, but they'd been friends for about six years!
So, we're pretty positive Gregg wasn't Faking It when he wrote such a lovey-dovey post!
But it wasn't all straight out of a Nicholas Sparks monologue! He also admitted that he's really attracted to her:
"I'm sure I've told you in the past, that personality is everything. However, on top of your charisma and captivating energy, you're also very very very very good looking. As my dad would say; 'boy, you done good.' I love you. Lots. #18thBirthday #Iloveyou #mybubba."
But Bella didn't only celebrate with her real-life main squeeze! She also shared her special day with her on-screen beau from the upcoming flick Midnight Sun, Patrick Schwarzenegger!
The actress used the photo-sharing site to upload a snap with a few of her co-stars from the movie, as she cut into a beautiful birthday cake! Ch-ch-check it out (below)!

Even BETTER, the flick will be titled
She's gone to the dark side!!
In a shoot unlike we've ever seen her in, Kendall Jenner is completely topless while giving off a fierce smolder.
And yes, her nipple has gone missing!
Photographed by the famed Mert Alas, the 19-year-old's sexy new pics were clearly Photoshopped and posted to his Instagram on Thursday, with the caption:
"Wash away her sins 😈 KENDALL in paris @kendalljenner #parisisburning"
Dayum! Guess that also explains why Kendall is so wet!
Then in another shot, you only get a close-up of her face, as a stream of water runs down.
We can't wait to find out what these pics are for, but we're kind of just hoping Kendy decided to just strip down for fun!

Jennifer Hudson is one strong woman.
While she often chooses to stay mum on her family's violent murders (Hud's mother, brother, and nephew were all ruthlessly killed by her sister's ex-husband), the singer recently spoke out on the tragic event.
Now that the mom of one is starring in a Broadway production of The Color Purple, she's finding it easier to express feelings on her late family. In the Color Purple, Hudson's character loses her daughter to a senseless act of violence which obviously is something she can relate to.
The actress elaborated:
"There's a scene where we're all holding up boards with photos of our slain children on them. I turned around, and it's a sea of real women as extras holding pictures of children they actually lost. I'm a character holding a picture of a little girl, but in real life I have the same story."
So tragic. At least the production seems to be cathartic.
Not only has work helped the Chicago native, but so has motherhood and marriage. Jen revealed:
