UPDATE: Moments ago, PD Commander Robert Lamoureux addressed the press to confirm one fatality at the scene. He explained that this person is believed to be the shooter and that the police are "confident" there was only one shooter on premises.
However, the school is still on lockdown as the police continue to sweep the campus. Commander Robert Lamoureux confirmed that someone at the school called 911 to report the shooting, but gave no further information.
At this time, he had nothing further on the shooter's motive, identity or any information on others who were injured.
A shooting has been reported at the Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Marysville, Washington at about 10:45 a.m. Friday.
According to the Seattle Times, there are reports that multiple people have been injured, including the shooter, after shots were fired in the schools cafeteria. Live aerial footage from the scene shows several students evacuating the school with their hands above their head, while others are being shuttled by bus to a nearby church.
However, the school remains on lockdown "due to an emergency situation," the school district said in a statement, with some students and faculty still inside.
This is a breaking news. More details to come.
