12 Days Of Perezmas: 8 Donald Trump Fails!

What Wall?

Trump kicked off his campaign with the cartoonishly evil promise to build a southern border wall to keep illegal Mexicans out. Not only that, he professed, Mexico would PAY for it. These plans became his biggest warcry, but would leave Trump crying long after the election. One of Trump's first acts as president was strengthening border security, which was also supposed to begin the process of constructing the wall.

Payment remained an issue, however, as Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto made it clear the country would NOT foot the bill for such an idiotic project. After Trump threw out the idea of taxing Mexican imports 20 percent to pay for the wall, Nieto cancelled his trip to the White House. As companies began submitting proposals, Homeland Security realized construction would cost three times more than Trump's initial estimation ($21 billion in total).

Though unable to get approval for a new border wall, the administration started taking small steps in seizing land to build one, until another entity -- the company behind Cards Against Humanity -- went ahead and purchased major plots of land to block Trump from ever breaking ground! Back to the drawing board, Wile E. Coyote in Chief.
