Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner found happiness in a romantic place.
The couple took to Instagram over the weekend to share photos and clips from their honeymoon after tying the knot (for a second time) in France last month — and, yes, their getaway is as dreamy as you’d expect it to be!

Following their second nuptials on June 29, the newlyweds jetted off to a luxury resort in the Maldives; a tropical nation in South Asia nestled in the Indian Ocean — or, as the Game of Thrones alum simply put it in her caption:
“Paradise.”
Based on the pics, we’d say that’s the most accurate description of the couple’s destination. Turner’s post showed off some highlights of the trip, which included romantic sunset gazing, romantic bike rides through foliage, and a romantic chess game on the water.

The Jonas Brothers member shared some romantic AF imagery as well, but also made sure to document more adventurous parts of the getaway.
In addition to pics of his wife lounging in a bikini and looking off into the waves at the beach, the Sucker singer shared a video of himself bravely shooting down a gigantic water slide!

In the caption of his post (below), Joe confirmed he found “happiness” at the Soneva Fushi resort, adding the Bureau of Tourism-approved hashtag, “#discoversoneva.”
Wow. Looks like an actual dream!
The honeymoon comes months after the couple surprised the world — and their parents — by getting hitched in a spontaneous ceremony in Las Vegas on May 1 following the JoBros’ performance at the Billboard Music Awards.
Of course, it was always the pair’s plan to have a more traditional Parisian wedding in the summer. A source explained at the time:
“Sophie and Joe knew the moment they decided to tie the knot in Vegas that they would do it ‘right’ the second time around. They both are spontaneous and loved their Vegas wedding but there was never a question as to if they would get married ‘properly,’ as they referred to it, later in the year.”
That proper wedding, as we reported, took place at Château de Tourreau. According to E! News, the ceremony was adorned by “white elegant flowers and glass candles,” and was followed by a reception in another area of the castle.
While Turner naturally stole the show in her stunning white gown, all the guests were wearing their wedding best. Priyanka Chopra Jonas slayed in a gorgeous pink pastel sari, while the couple’s dog, Porky Basquiat, was dressed to the nines in his own tuxedo.
We wish the couple a lifetime of happiness together. Judging by the honeymoon pics, they’re off to a great start!
