Man Miraculously Survives Stupefying Leap From Cruise Ship -- Watch!

Cruise Ship Jumper Banned

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls… do NOT try this at home!
A Washington man learned that lesson the hard way this week when he was banned for life from ever going on another Royal Caribbean cruise because he decided to up and jump off the side of the ship on one when it was docked in the Bahamas.

Nick Naydev was on a trip with some friends when, while his cruise ship was docked in the Bahamian port city of Nassau, he decided to jump from their 11th floor balcony down to the water below — and it all got filmed and posted to Instagram!
Ch-ch-check out the video (below), but seriously, TRIGGER WARNING — even though Naydev was uninjured, it’s definitely a little jarring to see a guy free-falling that far to the water below:

Wow… That was not his best idea, right?!
Naydev quickly figured that out after cruise officials and Bahamas police authorities forced him to leave the ship — and then find his own transportation, on his own dime, back home to Washington from Nassau.
They don’t take lightly to people doing stupid stuff like that!!!
Naydev spoke to Fox13 about the whole incident afterwards, and honestly sounded a little regretful (below):

“I am truly astonished at how this video has spread throughout the internet. My idea was this would be a good laugh for my friends and I would just swim back to shore and continue my vacation and never thought this would be this serious. I just hope I don’t inspire anyone to try this, because I don’t want to feel responsible for any injuries.”

Yeah, uh, that’s one problem with people trying to copy this, dude…
Now, Naydev is just lucky, because Royal Caribbean didn’t file any legal action. And, you know, he’s lucky to be alive!!!
