Julianne had to beat out fellow wonder women Marion Cotillard in Two Days, One Night, Felicity Jones in The Theory of Everything, Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl, and Reese Witherspoon in Wild!

Amazing!

The talented, gorgeous, and humble actor won his first Oscar EVER for his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

Lady GaGa Pays Tribute To The Sound Of Music At The Oscars For It's 50th Anniversary

Can you believe The Sound Of Music was released 50 years ago?!

We can't either!

The magical musical still holds up to this day! So it's no surprise that The Academy decided to pay tribute to this cinematic classic.

Scarlett Johansson beautifully set up the homage that was followed by a performance by Lady GaGa.

The 28-year-old performed a medley of the film's most well-known songs.

And afterward, there was even a surprise appearance by the film's iconic lead actress Julie Andrews!

Alejandro Innaritu Wins The Award For Best Director For His Work On Birdman At The Oscars!

Congratulations, Alejandro Innaritu!

The man behind the helm of the imaginative Birdman just won the award for Best Director at the Oscars!

Alejandro had to beat out Richard Linklater for Boyhood, Bennett Miller for Foxcatcher, Wes Anderson for The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Morten Tyldum for The Imitation Game.

That is some pretty tough competition!

This has been a night full of hotly contested categories, so this win is definitely deserved!

The Imitation Game Cracks The Code With An Oscar Win For Best Adapted Screenplay!

Lots of Oscar categories are tough to call, but few more so than this year's Best Adapted Screenplay!

With films based on books that tell such important stories, picking a winner must have been so difficult!

But in the end, the story of Alan Turing was honored above all as The Imitation Game took home the gold!

Considering it beat out American Sniper, Inherent Vice, The Theory of Everything, and Whiplash, that's one amazing honor!

Congratulations to screenwriter Graham Moore for his fantastic work!
