Yes, Charli XCX’s Boom Clap Was Meant For Hilary Duff! These Songs Were Meant For Someone Else Too!

charli xcx hilary duff turned down song boom clap whoops

Hilary Duff totally missed out on a great song!!

This year has been a pretty good one so far for Charli XCX, even though the number one singer she wanted to write for turned her down.

In an interview, the SuperLove singer recalled the time when her biggest girl crush turned down her song. She said of Boom Clap:

"I've had that song for about a year, I wrote it with Patrick Berger.

My number one project as a songwriter is to write for Hilary Duff, so when I heard about this, I was like, 'f**k! Are you serious?! This is my 'in!' I'm going to make a Hilary Duff album!' So we sent over Boom Clap, but they came back and were like, 'this isn’t cool enough for Hilary."

I was like, crushed. I thought I was a cool writer, but maybe I'm not. Hilary didn't want my song. What a life-ruiner."

Maybe this will help reconnect the two and make Charli's dreams come true!

That musical rejection wasn't the only one that has happened…

harrison ford star wars episode vii injury broken leg wheelchair first photo

So far we've only heard about Harrison Ford's injury, but seeing it makes it too real- and too sad!

The Star Wars star was spotted on Saturday for the first time since breaking his leg on set.

If you look closely, you can see the wheelchair-bound actor's broken left ankle is completely covered in a large plaster cast.

He was hardly flying Solo as a whole team helped the 71-year-old star to the airport.

Harrison is returning to the United States to recuperate for a couple months while filming on Episode VII continues in his absence.

We hope with the best medicine Disney's money can buy, he'll be back on his feet before we know it!
