David Mueller Speaks Out After Verdict In Taylor Swift Groping Case

David Mueller

Even after being found guilty for sexual assault and battery in the Taylor Swift groping case, former radio host David Mueller is still insisting he's innocent.

In his first televised interview since the verdict, he spoke with ABC News (played in part on Good Morning America on Tuesday) and said:

"What I'm saying is I didn't do what they say I did. I didn't do it. I never grabbed her. I never had my hand under her skirt — and I can pass a polygraph [test]."

He went on to explain his hand placement in the infamous meet-and-greet photo:

"I wasn't invited to be in the photo, so I just moved into the shot the best I could."

When asked why he waited two years to sue the singer for defamation, Mueller explained that he initially "asked for something in writing, which stated there was a misunderstanding" in order to "possibly convince" radio stations to hire him after being fired from KYGO, to no avail. He also announced he may appeal the jury's decision from yesterday.

Late Night Sounds Off On Donald Trump's Inability To Condemn White Supremacists After Charlottesville Rally — 'Ignoring It Is Just As Bad As Supporting It'

What a horrible weekend.

On Monday night, late night hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and Stephen Colbert all criticized Donald Trump for taking TWO days to condemn the KKK, neo-nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups (by name) following the violence in Charlottesville on Saturday.

In a serious monologue on The Tonight Show, Fallon (who typically remains pretty neutral) said:

"The fact that it took the president two days to come out and clearly denounce racists and white supremacists is shameful … And I think he finally spoke out because people everywhere stood up and said something."

He went on:

"It's important for everyone, especially white people in this country, to speak out against this. Ignoring it is just as bad as supporting it … We all need to stand against what is wrong, acknowledge that racism exists and stand up for what is right and civil and kind. We cannot do this. We can't go backward. We can't go backward."

Preach.

Kimmel, Meyers, and Colbert took it even a step further by proving how easy it is to denounce white supremacists… something our President failed to immediately do after the events in Virginia.

Donald Trump's soft response to white supremacy continues to cost him his favorite type of backers — CEOs!

The president's approval ratings dropped to an all time low after he went two whole days without condemning white supremacists following the deadly rally in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.

This time, it's more than just the "liberal snowflakes." CEOs are standing up to the Big Cheeto by stepping down from his American Manufacturing Council!

On Monday, Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank and Merck Pharma CEO Ken Fraizer resigned from The Donald's council on manufacturing jobs to call attention to his light response to the rally amid the heated political climate.

Not too long after, Intel CEO Brian Krzanich stepped down from the council as well, noting that "political agendas have sidelined the important mission of rebuilding America's manufacturing base."

Announcing his resignation in a blog post, Krzanich called out Washington for seeming "more concerned with attacking anyone who disagrees with them" than trying to rebuild America's manufacturing base.

He also addressed the violence over the weekend that left one woman dead, writing:
