Liam Neeson has suffered his share of tragedy.
It was just five years ago that his wife Natasha Richardson died from a head injury in a skiing accident.
Now Liam's nephew is in danger of a similar fate.
31-year-old Ronan Sexton reportedly climbed to the top of a telephone box during a night out with friends in Brighton this weekend, when he slipped off and hit his head on the pavement.
He's been fighting for his life in the hospital ever since.
Ronan's mother (and Liam's big sister) Bernadette Sexton has barely left her son's side. Liam has reportedly been in contact ever since the accident.
So sad. We are sending our thoughts to the entire family.

The 18-year-old has landed yet another cover, only this one chose to focus on her face.
And Kendall chose to share! She posted the pic to her Instagram before the issue even hit stands, tweeting:
We have a serious suggestion for FIFA…
Um… how about the players just stay shirtless for the entire 90 minute match?
Maybe this pic of the U.S. Men’s National Team will help them decide!
It must've seemed like a good idea at the time!
We really can't quite believe a company would promote a t-shirt that has such a pro-eating disorder message on it. Surely, they should've known better!
But, well, the Hudson's Bay Co. didn't know better when they put this Christopher Sauvé-designed t-shirt that reads "Nothing Tastes As Good As Skinny Feels" over a nutrition label up for sale. You may remember that quote as being attributed to Kate Moss, and in recent years it's been taken up as a sort of mantra for many pro-anorexia or pro-bulimia websites.
Putting it on a t-shirt only fuels those flames. The backlash was swift, however, as people criticized the company on Twitter for selling such an inappropriate item, and the company has since removed it from their site.
They also issued a statement:
“We truly value our relationship with our customers and take their concerns seriously and we recognize that many took offense to the item. In this particular instance, while we respect the designer’s art, due to the overwhelming response and the sensitivity of the matter, we made the decision to promptly remove the T-shirts from our stores and from thebay.com.”
The shirt's designer issued an apology as well, but also explained the satirical nature behind his work. You can read his full statement HERE. He said:
Peter Dinklage has a lot of range for an actor, but now he's met someone capable of even deeper hatred than Tyrion Lannister has for Tywin.
The Game Of Thrones star was photographed with Internet star Grumpy Cat, and many smiles were had!
Er, among all the fans that were looking on. These two had a grimace-off instead!
We're not sure why these two even met, but we think we have a new candidate to play Ser Pounce!
Hey, why not? It's not like they haven't replaced Daario, The Mountain, Tommen, Karstark, Lord Beric Dondarrion…
