Brooks Ayers is opening up about the reasoning behind all of that infamous fake cancer drama.
In an exclusive statement to People, the TV personality tries to clear the air:
"I have made my share of mistakes which I regret. I pride myself in apologizing when I am wrong or have wronged others either intentionally or unintentionally.Through the first five years of dating Vicki, I was coined as a con man, low life, gold digger, dead beat, etc. Nothing could be further from the truth in reality, yet this alone makes for great TV and for controversy."
Despite the documents saying Ayers was a resident at a cancer hospital were forged, Ayers does maintain he was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2013.
He also admits that his ex Vicki Gunvalson had nothing to do with the faked cancer documents:

This is a whole new side of Meghan Trainor!
We've heard the singer-songwriter be confident before, but this is some full-on in-your-face gangsta shiz!
She only released No three weeks ago, but we guess she really wants us to know that she's all about that early '00s sound, because Watch Me Do reeks of nostalgia, in the best way possible.
Plus, she's bringing back "breasteses…" so that's nice. Ha!
If you like what you hear, you can check out Meghan's entire sophomore album Thank You when it drops May 13!
