Billy Bob Thornton Runs Away With The Golden Globe For Best Actor In A Miniseries Or Television Film! Here's His Acceptance Speech!

| Filed under: TV NewsAwardzGolden GlobesBilly Bob Thornton

Billy Bob Thornton is back with a vengeance!

Thornton won the Best Actor in a Miniseries for his role on the FX hit Fargo at the Golden Globe Awards.

In true Billy Bob fashion, the acceptance speech was very unique — the actor joked about how he always gets in "trouble" no matter what he says!

He nabbed the win against Martin Freeman in Fargo, Woody Harrelson in True Detective, Matthew McConaughey in True Detective, and Mark Ruffalo in The Normal Heart.

The actor's win was an extra bonus to Fargo winning the Best TV Show or Mini-Series.

Wow, Fargo is totally killing tonight!

Congrats!

Homeland's Claire Danes Fails To Impress In A Wood Nymph-Type Gown At The Golden Globes

This is like, the perfect camouflage for the forest!

But unfortunately, it wasn't ideal for the Golden Globes red carpet and it didn't look amazing on Claire Danes.

The dark flowery patterns were a little too busy, and while the Valentino dress did stand out, it didn't stand out in the right way.

We've definitely seen Claire do better!

Luckily, the 35-year-old's makeup made up for it by being on-point and her blonde up 'do framed her face in a softly elegant way. Also loving her Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Salvatore Ferragamo heels!

No complaints there!!

Joanne Froggatt Provides The First Upset Of The Night By Winning The Golden Globe For Best Supporting Actress On Television!

| Filed under: TV NewsAwardzGolden GlobesMichelle MonaghanAmerican Horror StoryOrange is the New Black

Wow!

In the first upset of the night, Joanne Froggatt won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Television Film for her work on Downton Abbey!

We're a little surprised that Uzo Aduba didn't take home the award, but Joanne totally deserved the win, especially after her very powerful rape storyline on the PBS series.

The 34-year-old actress beat out Uzo for Orange Is the New Black, Kathy Bates for American Horror Story: Freak Show, Allison Janney for Mom, and Michelle Monaghan for True Detective.

Congrats, Joanne!

Lupita Nyong'o Beautifully Blooms On The Golden Globes Red Carpet

Golden Globes 2015: Lupita Nyong'o walks the red carpet.

Major flower power!

Lupita Nyong'o was in full, glorious bloom at the Golden Globes.

Last year's Best Actress winner wore a bright purple Giambattista Valli gown with rosettes all along the bodice and a long, sweeping train!

A perfect Sunday dress fit for a Hollywood princess!

She definitely took a risk with such a striking bodice featuring dozens of petals, but it made her stand out in a great way! And we love her Chopard jewels!

We're just so glad to see her back in her element!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus Washes Out In White On The Golden Globes Red Carpet

Golden Globes 2015: Julia Louis-Dreyfus walks the red carpet.

Well, this isn't too far from what we were expecting!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus left us with a very simple look at the Golden Globes in El Lay tonight!

Like most of the attendees, the Veep starlet also chose a white gown, though hers was a classic Narciso Rodriguez number with very little if any accents.

Sadly, even with the bejeweled bodice, we feel her frock didn't quite stand out on the red carpet. Though her Irene Neuwirth jewels certainly brightened it up!

We think she could have done better — perhaps with a different color. What do U think???
