For those of you who don't know, Ruth was signed to Columbia Records last year after writing the song based on an episode of Once Upon a Time… so we're betting she's really thankful for her questionable TV taste right about now!
Lost Boy is just the first single for the Canadian songstress, but she hopes to release a full album at some point in 2016.
Plus, if you like what you hear, you can listen to even more of Ruth on her four-track EP The Intro!

So far, Donald Trump has been able to get away with A LOT of ridiculous things.
Whether the former Celebrity Apprentice star is being a misogynistic jerk or just incredibly racist, he's said some pretty deplorable things that we didn't think ANY presidential nominee could get away with!
Surprisingly — and we don't mean that in a good way — the 69-year-old was able to pull off the big GOP victory as Ted Cruz and John Kasich have both recently dropped out making the orange-y orange Twitter troll the presumptive Republican nominee.
Since earning that title, it seems that Trump might be letting his true colors show as he has flip-flopped on his tax plan that so many Republican Party members were behind.
During the primaries, Trump's plan was to give the top 0.1% of income earners an average tax cut of somewhere around $1.3 million according to the non-partisan Tax Policy Center. As for the middle class, they would only receive about a $2,700 break — and yes, Trump is part of that 0.1%. Try not to act too surprised.
The interesting thing is that old Donald seems to have changed his mind as he dropped by Meet the Press on Sunday and told them:
"I was under a lot of pressure from a company that I was previously working with and they wanted me to lose weight fast. So, they got me with a nutritionist and had me on all these supplements and I was injecting myself."
As a result of these intense practices, the 25-year-old said she wasn't eating that much:
"It makes your body only need certain calories, so I ate 500 calories a day. This was the most unhealthy thing I'd ever done."
The gorgeous gal spilled that she went along with the unhealthy decision because she was afraid her album wouldn't get released if she didn't.
And even though JoJo followed the orders she was given, her album still wasn't released.
The artist explained that she felt awful after the injections and the supplements:
"I gained all the weight back. I felt terrible about myself. And I was upset that I even subscribed to the standard that they wanted me to be at."
Plus, the whole thing was pretty traumatic:
"I had to unpack some of the damage that being on that weird diet did to me. I couldn't work out. I didn't feel strong."
We can only imagine. So horrible.
But, we're glad that right now JoJo is happy, healthy, and touring with Fifth Harmony!
