For any retailer or normal person who was looking to capitalize on one of singer's many catchy lyrical phrases, you're out of luck because the singer beat you to the punch!
This is not a joke.
If you do a quick search on the United States Patent and Trademark Office, it'll show that Tay Tay has ownership of the ever-so-popular "This sick beat," "Nice to meet you. Where you been?" and "Party like it's 1989!"
Guess tweens everywhere won't be able to snag a shirt at Forever 21 with those phrases.
They're just going to have to wait until TSwifty stops in their town for an epic concert! Or make homemade T-Shirts with those phrases!

The drama between Lil Wayne and Birdman rages on. The rapper is suing his estranged mentor for $8 million dollars, but he's planning on taking even more moolah from the guy.
Apparently the Fireman rapper has filed a lawsuit to end his contract with Cash Money!

You'd think since he holds the Skyfall singer in such high regard that he'd find the comparison flattering.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the rapper announced his plans to run for mayor of College Park, GA earlier this week.
The 37-year-old said:
