The 2016 BET Awards got realer than they've ever been on Sunday night.
Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams was presented with the Humanitarian Award for his work promoting equality and speaking out against police brutality with the Black Lives Matter movement.
He got the crowd to their feet almost immediately with his strong words but did NOT stop with the mic drop lines like:
"If you have no interest in equal rights for Black people then do not make suggestions to those who do. Sit down."
"Just because we're magic doesn't mean we're not real."

The late boxing legend — who passed away earlier this month at age 74 — was honored during Sunday's ceremony with a touching speech from his daughter Laila Ali!
Getting choked up on stage, the former boxing champ fought back tears as she commemorated her iconic father's life — and even recited one of his famous quotes:
"The man who views the world at 50 the same as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life."

Mostly because the songstress didn't need anyone else for her innovative performance of In Common!
During Sunday's show, Miz Keys broke out her a piano, synthesizer, and acoustic guitar and mixed the layers to her hit single live on stage!
At the end of the performance, the hitmaker really made the crowd jump by throwing her electric keyboard right off its stand! Ride that adrenaline rush, girl!

So is this one bigger and better?
Well, it's certainly bigger, as it was split up into multiple performances throughout the night. And it all started (above) with the Legendary Roots Crew, along with Erykah Badu and Bilal.
Sheer is in!
The Empire actress certainly slayed in her black and silver ensemble as she proved to everyone watching that she is, in fact, ageless. We see you, girl.
However, the Pretend singer one-upped Taraji's outfit by rocking a particularly seXXXy ensemble. We mean, Tinashe was nearly naked on the red carpet as she showed off her butt (below)!
We told you about her fabulous dancers demolishing their arrival, and now the queen is officially here!!
Guess Yoncé got in all the Hawaiian rest and relaxation she needed!
Bey wore a nude and black leotard — adorned with sequins and fringe — to sing her heart out barefoot in the water. The songstress completed the getup with golden makeup and perfect braids.
Check out another pic of her with performance buddy Kendrick Lamar (below)!
Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross are back! In time!
The Black-ish stars are hosting the BET Awards for the second year in a row, and they decided to open the show with a special tribute to Hamilton!
Together, they performed Desiigner's Panda, O.T. Genasis' Cut It, The Weeknd's I Can't Feel My Face, and Rihanna's Sex With Me in the style of the Tony-winning musical — they even brought out R&B singer Anthony Hamilton.
