Hugh Jackman's Kiddies Follow Some Strict House Rules

Hugh Jackman is one tough pop!
He supports his family with his with movies, but in Hugh's house anything that plays on a screen is against the rules!
Jackman has a no screen policy at his house. On weekdays his kids Oscar (11), and Ava (6) have to entertain themselves the old fashioned way.
"A buddy of mine has a rule that I installed: No screens during the week. No TV, or computer, or anything like that,"
explains Jackman.
According to their father, Oscar and Ava aren't missing much. He claims their weekdays are too busy for any of that icky media stuff anyway.
"Kids nowadays have very little time. They seem to be at school longer than ever. They have all sorts of after school activities. By the time you have eaten and showered and dressed, it is over. So there is not much time for it anyway."
Being strict with his no screen rule seems to be working out. Now Hughs kids are keeping him from falling off video game free wagon.
"I love to play Wii Tennis. So I'll say to my son, 'Hey, lets go play on the Wii.' And he goes, 'Dad, it's a beautiful day! Let's go outside!' "
Impressive!
Perhaps this no-screen rule is something ever parent should put in place — with blog reading as the only exception, of course.
