Denise Richards Talks About Adopting

Being a single mom with two girls, adopting another child probably wasn't an easy decision for Denise Richards.
But it was obviously the right decision as Denise, Sam, Lola, and now baby Eloise couldn't be happy with their new lives together.
Denise recently blogged about the process she went through when adopting her new baby:
I decided to start the adoption process about two years ago. I had always wanted to adopt and had always wanted more children. I needed to make a decision: Do I wait for the right partner or move ahead with my life and do it on my own? I decided to do it on my own.
The process took two years and there were many times during that I felt discouraged. But I always had faith that the right baby would find us (my daughters and me). I've always felt that children choose their parents, and Eloise found me a different way.
A lot of people ask me why I adopted another girl and not a boy. I honestly had no preference whether I had a son or daughter. I knew what was meant to be would be, and I was blessed with a beautiful baby daughter. My daughters, Sami and Lola, feel so blessed to be big sisters to Eloise. They love giving her a bottle, picking out her outfit and making her smile. I couldn't imagine better big sisters for Eloise. I love my girls so much — three is a charm!
How touching! Hopefully this will inspire others to go the adoption route as well.
We're so happy for all four of you girls!
