Back in 2004, when Anthony Kiedis released his tell-all memoir Scar Tissue, he probably wasn't thinking about who could possibly be reading all his dark and most personal secrets.
Even though the book was praised for its "warts and all" honesty, Kieidis has banned his family, especially his four-year-old son Everly Bear, from reading it.
"In all truth, I didn't really think it through (when writing the book). I was so used to sharing my 'warts' with people, I forgot to consider that people would eventually read it. But I'm happy because it has become a go-to book for people who are struggling with their own addictions and challenges in life.
I'm an example of someone who was down and out and got over the hump… I have requested that all my family stay the hell away from that book. So hopefully (my son will) be reading Mark Twain instead."
We don't blame Anthony from wanting to keep his past a secret from his kid, but we have a pretty strong feeling that he's going to find out about it anyway. Better to be honest with your children, right?
