The Bush Kids Are Taking Over Barbara Bush's Literacy Charity

The Bush kids are taking over the Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good Their mom's literacy charity!

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and his sister Doro Bush Koch are now leading the foundation started by their mother more than 20 years ago.

Yesterday Barbara Bush announced that her son and daughter were the new co-chairs of the the foundation she started in 1989, when her husband was president.

She said she's

"very proud of what the foundation has accomplished in the last 20 years, but there still is so much more to do."

It has awarded more than $40 million to 902 family literacy programs nationwide. Jeb Bush and his sister had launched literacy initiatives in Florida and Maryland, respectively.

The 86-year-old Barbara Bush will remain involved as honorary chairwoman.
