Last week, Mindy McCready created some major dramz when she ran away with her son Zander from Florida, whom she does have custody of, and fled to her boyfriend's cabin in the woods of Arksanas where she was hiding out.
After being reported missing, Mindy and her 5-year-old son were allegedly found hiding in the closet by U.S. Marshals.
Mindy describes the incident to ABC's 20/20:
"He was screaming, 'Please don’t touch me, please don’t touch me, please don’t touch my mommy. Please, leave me alone, I want to be with my mommy.'
I … will not ever think that me taking my own child, that I carried for nine months, that I gave birth to in the hospital by myself would ever be breaking the law. What I did was to protect my child, and there’s not a person in the world that’s going to tell me that that is wrong."
In the second part of the interview that has yet to be aired, Mindy reveals "some of her family's deepest, darkest secrets" and clears the air on hiding in the closet with her son.
Yikes. Crazy stuff. Watch her interview above.
