The holiday spirt is effecting everyone!
Even Mel Gibson who, let's face it, isn't known for being remotely cool is taking a break from fighting with cops, baby mommas, and the Jews to help children in need.
The Beaver star is hosting a poker tournament on December 16 with fellow A-lister
President Bartlet Martin Sheen, benefiting Mending Kids - an organization that provides surgical care to needy kids around the world.
We are really proud of Mel for is on going support of this worthy cause.
To enter the tournament players will have to pay a $2,500 buy in price, and the game is Texas Hold ‘Em.
We wish luck to anyone who plays!
