Survivor winner and Celebrity Apprentice cast member Richard Hatch just got out of prison this week. Sooo, naturally, what's the next step?
Pitch a reality show! About your kids who were conceived from your very generous sperm donations! Great idea!
Hatch, who served time for tax evasion, wants his reality show to center around the relationship he has with these children. Just before heading off to prison in March, Hatch met with his 22-year-old biological son, who found him through the Sibling Donor Registry.
Another 22-year-old woman from Maine also visited him in prison.
"It was additionally challenging to be wrongfully imprisoned knowing that these children were coming forward. I told the court that beforehand. I explained this is a fascinating time in my life when I was at a place where I wanted to get to know these people who are my children who have come forward and want to get to know me.
The offspring want connections with their biological donors because of all kinds of varying reasons from health to emotional to whatever they are."
What an odd idea for a reality show. But we've seen worse.
If you do happen to actually get this show made, Rich, we suggest you hire a new accountant.
