Now that's a poem!
Beyoncé recently appeared in a new fashion spread for CR Fashion Book, but it wasn't her flawless looks that had our attention.
We already knew all about that!
Is the above sign a diamond shaped star or a lady-part?
Toddlers all around the world have been taught to make certain gestures while singing the well-known nursery rhyme, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. But now a school in the UK has banned the gesture - in case it offends deaf people.
Bosses at the Sure Start children's group in Acomb are reported to have introduced the ban after realising one of the hand actions could be misconstrued as the sign language gesture for vag-jay-jay.
WFT?? Most the deaf people we know are not so easily offend.
Even if there was a super sensitive deaf person, it's unlikely, they'd ever know these that the kids at Sure Start where being "perverted" cause there no deaf children OR parents currently attend the school.
One parent that doesn't support the ban argues that:
"These are innocent little children just making a sign to show a star. No-one would give it a second thought. Now every parent may worry their child may be making an offensive gesture when they're singing this song."
Totally! Now they have to explain to the kids why the sign is offensive, something we're sure the mature toddlers will likely abuse.
This is just as silly as that one school that took the word "Gay" out of Deck the Halls.
