We're glad he's able to move on.
Dr. William Petit Jr., the lone survivor in the brutal home invasion where his wife and two daughters were murdered back in 2007, is now engaged to photographer Christine Paluf.
The couple met while Paluf was photographing events for the Petit Family Foundation. Sometime after this past Christmas, the two got engaged, but have yet to set a wedding date.
Petit's wife Jennifer Hawke-Petit and his two daughters Hayley and Michaela were brutally murdered in a home invasion. The man accused of killing them, Joshua Komisarjevsky, was sentenced to death in November 2010.
We know that Dr. Petit has been through so much and lost his entire family in such a horrible tragedy. It looks like he's finally able to find a way to heal.
We wish them both luck.
