Seems like Kelly Clarkson is always being asked about her relationships and why she has yet to settle down.
Well, first off, the girl is still young so whatever to the haters. And second, Kelly says that the main reason why she has yet to have a successful relationship is because of the effects of her parents' divorce.
Her parents Jeanne and Stephen split when she was five. Then, her mother's second marriage went sour when Kelly was just 19. She's now convinced that a lack of stability growing up has contributed to her struggles today.
"Divorce isn't fun. It affects relationships you get into when you are older. I think you have to work a little harder because you're constantly thinking it's probably not going to work out in the end.
Also, I travel a lot and work a lot. The way I live, it's hard for me to even find someone."
We hear ya, Kelly. It's not an easy road out there. But, if you convince yourself that you can break the cycle and realize that you deserve stability and happiness, then we're sure the right person will come along.
Just do you, gurl. Just do you.
