When you become a parent the importance of how you style yourself becomes less, and less of a priority.
Thankfully, mommy, party planning and organizing expert Amy Malin is here to help all you modern momma's look and feel your best!
"Some of the Moms at my son's school always look like they just stepped off the runway. They are decked out head to toe in the hottest designer clothes and shoes. I can't afford their wardrobe budgets so what can I do to go from frumpy to fabulous?"
Here's Amy's expert answer:
"You don't have to have Kim Kardashian's cash to look like a million bucks. In fact, many big stars rock styles from labels like H&M, Express and the designer collections made for Target and they look awesome. ABS by Allen Schwartz (absstyle.com) makes gorgeous dresses and gowns that imitate the hottest red carpet looks for a fraction of the price. Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood are fans.
While Christian Louboutin makes totally gorgeous shoes, unless you are Blake Lively or Demi Moore, most people can't afford to spend $1,000 plus per pair. Michael Antonio Footwear (michaelantonio.com) makes sexy sky high heels and stylin' boots that won't break the bank. Probably the most important thing you can do to look hot is to be confident. If you're comfortable in your own skin, have signature style and always rock a megawatt smile, there is nothing more attractive. A confident chica always turns heads."
That's right! You're never fully dressed without a smile.
(Still, a pair of hot boots helps too!)
