Yum… health food!

Okay, even if you're not the type of go nutz over granola or lick your fingers after cauliflower, it is SO important that you get your kids eating right!

Perezitos's nutrition expert Margaux J. Rathbun says it is so so important that parents make sure their mini-mees get plenty of Vitamin E.

She tells us EXCLUSIVELY:

"It’s important to include a wide array of nutrients in your child’s diet. Vitamin E is a fat soluble antioxidant that protects your child’s cell membranes from damage. It also protects the liver from fat soluble oxidative damage in addition to protecting nerve and muscle function."

Marg says that serving V-E is E-Z cause there are lots of foods that are rich with the stuff. According to her:

"Your child can get vitamin E from foods such as wheat germ, sunflower seeds, whole wheat, raw nuts, and extra-virgin olive oil. It's also found in fresh foods like Swiss chard, kiwifruit, spinach, papaya, bell peppers, and Brussels sprouts."
