Padma Lakshmi lost her baby battle with Adam Dell.

The brother of computer Michael Dell sued his Top Chef baby momma for not recognizing he was the father of 2-year-old daughter.

Dell won extra custody and visitation rights to the baby girl, whose name will be legally changed to Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell. An insider reveals that:

“Their dispute was settled privately, out of court. Dell got improved visitation and custody rights. He had wanted full custody, but they came to a compromise. Padma maintains the same rights she always had.”

Another source claims Dell “adores this little girl more than anything else, and just wanted to make sure he could be a huge part of her life.”

It's obvi that even though Krishna's parents don't get along, they love HER a ton. And, if the love runs dry she'll always be super rich!

Not only is her dad a member of the Dell computer family, her mom's late ex-boyfriend left her close to $2 BILLION in a trust!
