Even though Hugh Grant says that he "likes" his new daughter "very much," he unfortunately (for her) doesn't like her enough to spoil her.
And when we say "spoil," we mean he has no intention of setting up a trust fund, which is weird considering he's probably, okay, most definitely, one of the richest actors in the UK and maybe even in the U.S. But guess his baby doesn't deserve to live a cushy life!
The actor says:
"I like my daughter very much. Has she changed my life? I'm not sure. Not yet. Not massively, no. But I'm absolutely thrilled to have had her, I really am. And I feel a better person.
I see nothing but f–k-ups among my trust-fund friends. It's like 99% f–k-ups. So I would not want to do that to my children, no."
He adds that he will be "incredibly strict" when it comes to any bad behavior because:
"It's just unattractive in a child, I don't like it. I do think discipline's important."
Hugh actually does have a point. Guess it's nice to see some parents care enough about their kids to make sure they don't develop bad habits.
But, c'mon, dude! She's your little baby! And she's gonna want a car when she turns 16!!!
