These parents need to get a friggin' life!!
An annual Easter egg hunt held in Colorado Springs, Colorado had to be canceled due to the aggressive behavior by parents.
Last year, parents who were too eager to wait for the start of the hunt, jumped a rope that marked the boundaries of the children-only hunt, which ended the entire activity in just the first few seconds.
An eyewitness described what happened:
"So everybody thinks you said 'Go,' and everybody goes, and it's over in seconds. If one parent gets in there, other parents say, 'If one can get in, we all can get in,' and everybody goes."
Organizers of the event say that the hunt had gotten too big to handle, especially considering the atrocious behavior by the parents.
UGH. How can you be that competitive during an Easter egg hunt??? Someone could have seriously gotten hurt. This is supposed to be fun and harmless!
