Robert Redford's son is following in his poppa's footsteps.
James Redford has teamed up with his dad to make an eye-opening documentary about the Colorado River.
The two are aiming to raise awareness of the need for water conservation and the unsustainable and growing demands placed on the water system that runs through the Colorado River.
Senior Redford will be narrating the film, titled Watershed and will bring up the argument that the river will no longer be able to provide for the millions of families who depend on it.
"The watershed issue is something that's happening all over the world, where the need for water is greater than the amount of water to provide for it. I think we're picking the Colorado River as an example of what's going on with watersheds all over the world and trying to focus on that and draw attention to it…
There's a new water reality that people have to be aware of, and I think looking at the Colorado River as an example is what this film's about."
Looks like Robert is teaching his son well… Both of them are both long-time eco-campaigners and use their fame and skillz to raise awareness.
We have a feeling this film will pretty eye-opening.
