Nicki Minaj didn’t expect this. Have to admit, neither did we.
Flocks of young girls have gravitated towards the singer-slash-rapper who’s become a national celebrity and musical icon.
Nicki finds it a bit confusing why so many young people like her music considering it’s not exactly age-appropriate, but she doesn’t dispute that the younger ones hold a very special place in her heart. Aw!
Here’s what Nicki had to say about it:
"I’ve always been kind of racy. Don’t expect that to change, but I love children and I respect children so much. …I’m big on them remaining, you know, kids. I don’t want them to go around cursing and acting crazy."
The pop star has recently toned down her appearance, and has begun to find a niche with young girls thanks to her catchy-smashy pop hits like Super Bass, Turn Me On, and Starships.
We’re glad Nick is aware of the powerful influence she wields and we’re sure, with more experience, she’ll eventually become a great model for her younger adoring fans!
