A Montana mom is furious with TSA workers for treating her 4-year-old daughter "like a terrorist."
Michelle Brademeyer says she and her daughter (the cute one above) had passed through security when her daughter saw her grandmother going through security, and ran up to give her a hug.
According to Brademeyer, a few TSA agents went batshiz over the "breach of security," and demanded her daughter undergo a FULL BODY PAT-DOWN!!
“It was implied, several times, that my mother, in their brief two-second embrace, had passed a handgun to my daughter.”
Then they told her preschooler to "spread her arms and legs." The little girl was crazy scared, and started weeping. So, the TSA agents took her to a private room, and according to Brademeyer:
“That is when a TSO told me they would shut down the entire airport, cancel all flights, if my daughter was not restrained. It was then they declared my daughter a ‘high-security threat. I will never forget the look of pure terror on her face.
A TSO began repeating that in the past she had 'seen a gun in a teddy bear.' The TSO seemed utterly convinced my child was concealing a weapon, as if there was no question about it.”
OMG! That poor girl!
TSA officials says they never implied that the 4-year-old was carrying a concealed weapon, but Brademeyer is looking for retribution.
This whole story is just insaaaane. We don't know what actually went down, but is sounds like the TSA really screwed up!!
