Canadian Classroom Deems Dr. Seuss TOO Political!

No, Canada!

A school district in Canada has banned a Dr. Seuss quote from an elementary school classroom for being "too political."

The problematic lines were from the classic Yertle The Turtle and they go as follows:

“I know up on top you are seeing great sights, but down here on the bottom, we too should have rights”

We can see how, out of context, that quote could be political, but it still seems a bit harsh to ban it from the classroom.

What would the Cat In The Hat say in times like these???
