Amber Portwood Is BARELY AWAKE In Mugshot Picture

Amber Portwood's mugshot was released today, and boy is it, um…interesting.

Usually when people are arrested they experience a wide range of emotions, and mostly their mugshots indicate how they're feeling.

Maybe they're anxious, or angry, or scared.

One thing that isn't so common during a mugshot shoot is a person falling asleep.

Then again, the Teen Mom isn't exactly what we'd call a normal person.

After she was arrested last week for failing to appear at a court ordered meeting, Amber apparently took this major setback so seriously that she could barely keep her eyes open.

Here's what her brother had to say:

"It's sad. Just the other day Amber was talking about [how] she was so happy to finally be turning her life around. She said she was going to work hard to get her charge reduced. Her new goal is to join the military. She's been doing so well."

We're not exactly sure she's Army material.

Although, who knows?

Maybe she's more disciplined when she's sleepwalking.
