We Have A Student Academy Award Winner(s)!
What do Spike Lee, Trey Parker, and Bob Saget all have in common?
They each won a Student Academy Award for films they made in college.
It's an annual competition for college and university filmmakers whose work is judged by professional members of the Academy.
Today, the 2012 Student Academy Award winners were announced.
Ten students from nine U.S. colleges won. The winners will be flown out to Los Angeles for a week of film industry related activities and will receive their awards in a majestic ceremony on June 6th.
Which of those ten will become the next Spike Lee?
We'll just have to wait a few short years and see!
