Alanis Morissette Discusses Controversial Attachment Parenting

Lately, the notorious TIME magazine cover has caused a lot of turned heads and dropped a lot of jaws.
Alanis Morissette, on the other hand, doesn't seem too hot and bothered by all of the hoopla.
She had a few choice words on the matter with regards to her family.
“I breastfeed and I’ll be breastfeeding until my son is finished and he weans. I think it affords the child, when he grows up, to have a lot less therapy to go to. For me, I protect his safety and his well-being and his attachment. That stage of development is a very important stage. We’re definitely skin-on-skin connected as much as possible.”
Well, that honestly doesn't sound TOO out there.
Although there's got to be a different way she can say that last park about sleeping together and being "skin-on-skin" connected.
We totally get what she's saying, but it just sounds a bit…odd.
