The TLC special Obese And Expecting highlights a growing concern regarding the obesity epidemic in America.
Especially for expectant mothers whose health risks rise exponentially if they are obese AND are carrying a child.
Watch the clip (above) from the reality show to see doctors try and deliver a baby from an extremely large woman.
Needless to say, it proves quite difficult.
Here's what a doctor said on the issue:
"It's harder to provide excellent care to someone who's obese because a lot of things we do are not as accurate. It's also harder to feel the position of the baby."
On another note, weight gains during the preggers period are obviously expected, but one should only increase their weight by fifteen pounds MAX.
More than that is just asking for trouble!
