In the "shocker of the century," a study found that increased TV watching time was associated with junk food eating.
The study, called Health Behavior in School-Aged Children Study, looked at 12,640 teens.
Poor eating habits were higher among boys, and higher among Hispanic and black students.
Another study found that kids who watched over 21 hours a week of TV were more likely to be affected by food commercials and therefore go eat out at unhealthy food places.
