Aww, congratulations to gold medalist Kerri Strug!
The olympic gymnast - who vaulted to perfection after suffering an ankle injury during the 1996 games - recently welcomed son Tyler William Fisher into the world.
The 7 lbs. and 1 oz tiny human is Kerri and husband Robert Fisher III's first child.
The venerated athlete recently expressed:
"Everyone tells you, ‘When you have a child, you'll understand,' It's kind of like my gymnastics training when people said, ‘Dreams do come true, anything's possible.' You hear these things and you really want to believe them, but you don't quite get it until you go through it…And it's the same with Tyler. I understand it now, the immediate love."
OH, what poignant words! Our heart swells!
AND Kerri will soon be a working Mom, representing team USA in this year's London Olympics - not as competitor, but as ambassador for Hilton Honors Support the Dream.
