This is a story that is truly stranger than fiction.
A teenage boy named Ray wandered in the German capital of Berlin nine months ago and claimed that he had been living in the forest with his father for the last five years.
He told authorities in English that his father took him into the wilderness after his mother perished in a car accident when he was 12 and the two of them had been sleeping in a tent or caves ever since.
That is until his father died last August and the boy buried him before wandering five days north to end up at city hall in Berlin.
Ray doesn't know where he's from or what his last name is, but at least knows he was born on June 20, 1994.
While attending school and being taken care of by youth services, investigators are trying to figure out where he came from. Since he has no particular accent and his DNA has not matched up with any missing person reports, authorities are at a loss, but hope releasing a photo (above) will help get some answers.
Since Ray has been able to operate various types of technology and speaks with ease, a detective on the case believes "he was not far away from civilization for years."
Pretty crazy story! Wonder how long it will take for Hollywood to turn it into a movie?
