Oh gosh, we have a feeling this comment is going to cause A LOT of controversy.
Spoiler alert: Keeks answer might shock you!
The 34-year-old explained to Australian radio outlet, 92.9:
Some say it takes a village to raise a child. That seems to be what California State Senator Mark Leno thinks.
Leno introduced a bill to the state legislature that would allow children to have more than two legally recognized parents. This law would apply to extra parents in nontraditional families, including some previously ignored spouses and sperm donors.
BTW, this isn't just some crazy Californian idea! Pennsylvania, Maine, and a few other states have already passed similar laws.
Considering nuclear families are making up less and less of our population- less than half in 2010- maybe it is time to adjust our legal definitions.
As far as we're concerned, there's no reason NOT to pass this law. It's hard enough to find one good parent; if you're lucky enough to have three, why should anyone take that away?
Besides, when it comes to family, the more the merrier!
