Florida School Board Bans Energy Drinks
This is probably a good idea!
The school board in Florida has voted on whether or not to ban energy drinks from schools!
BANNED!!
The Manatee County School Board voted 4-0 to ban the drinks from schools, putting them on the same list as cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs.
There's at least one teen that's upset, though:
"People should be able to drink these, stay focused in school."
Or you could get some sleep like kids have been doing for hundreds of years before energy drinks!
Even then, a cup of coffee is WAY healthier for you!
The new ban will take effect this school year.
A student caught with an energy drink will first get a warning, then face suspension if it happens again.
It seems a little harsh, but it's not like talking sense into high schoolers has ever been easy!
