Kate Hudson gets to wear many of the world's top designers.
And she can't wait to share the gorgeous threads with her daughter. That is, if she ever has one.
The mother of two boys holds out hope that one day she'll have a little girl to whom she can pass down the gowns. She says:
"I archive a lot of my pieces - from when Stella (MCCartney) was at Chloe and Tom Ford at Ysl and Gucci. My mum (actress Goldie Hawn) never kept her clothes. She was big into (Azzedine) Alaia clothes and she didn't keep them!
She also had Ossie Clark dresses from the '70s, and I never got to wear them, so I decided when and if I have a little girl in my life, maybe she'll be into them and want to go into my closet someday."
Aw, the thought of all those iconic fashions going to waste…
Hey Kate, in case that whole daughter thing doesn't work out, have you considered donating those dresses to the needy?
Say, the needy fashion-minded bloggers of the world?
