Henry Hopper hasn't had a chance to play many roles- he just made his film debut last year in Gus Van Sant's Restless.
The son of film legend Dennis Hopper certainly hasn't portrayed the kind of villainy he is accused of in real life!
An anonymous woman is suing the young actor on behalf of her 16-year-old daughter, who alleges that 21-year-old Henry took advantage of her.
According to the claims, Hopper met the girl through a mutual friend, flirted with her on Facebook, and invited her over for drinking and drugs.
"[Hopper] preyed upon a young impressionable child, suggesting that he cared for her, luring her into his home with promises of alcohol and illegal drugs, and then repeatedly taking advantage of her youth an vulnerability."
The girl's mother says she has suffered severe psychological damage from these events and is asking an undisclosed sum in damages.
The family haven't filed criminal charges, but with no statute of limitations on rape, we're sure we'll be hearing about them soon.
He certainly hope this isn't the crime the plaintiffs are alleging. It would be a shame for young Henry to throw away his potential like this!
