The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission today announced a voluntary recall of the Bumbo product.
Designed to help babies sit up straight - the Bumbo has apparently had a scary amount of incidents where babies have fell and subsequently hurt themselves.
Consumers have been warned to stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
Here's what the report also said:
"At least 50 incidents after the October 2007 voluntary recall in which babies fell from a Bumbo seat while it was being used on a raised surface. Nineteen of those incidents included reports of skull fractures."
Yikes!
We hope those babies are OK!
