Snooki is looking great! It's hard to believe she gave birth so recently!
So how did she lose so much so fast? She tweeted:
"Breast feeding helped a lot! And eating healthy/walking"
OK, we get eating healthy and exercising. It's the first part we're a little fuzzy on!
According to Babycenter.com, breastfeeding can help new moms lose weight in 2 ways:
First, like laughing, sneezing, breathing, and other somewhat passive activities we don't think of as exercise, nursing actually burns calories. It doesn't mean you don't have to exercise, but it can be a boost!
Second, even though your umbilical cord has been cut, you're still eating for two! A lot of the nutrients in your food, particularly in a well-balanced diet, are used to make milk.
And don't forget, breast milk is also the healthiest think your baby can drink! Just consider this nature's little karma cycle!
