Whitney Houston's Mother Wants Bobbi Kristina's Trust Fund Paid In Installments

Whitney Houston's sudden death has left her family in a lurch, and now Whitney's mother Cissy is trying to work her way through the courts in order to stop Bobbi Kristina from receiving all of her money, so she totally doesn't blow it.

Or have someone else blow it for her.

Here's what the trustee's legal petition said:

"[Bobbi Kristina] is a highly visible target for those who would exert undue influence over her inheritance and/or seek to benefit from respondent's resources and celebrity. [It was Whitney's] intent to provide long-term financial security and protection for her child. Compliance with the provisions of the trust would defeat or substantially impair the accomplishment of the purposes of the trust, which were to provide for the proper maintenance and comfort of the respondent, and to prevent the wasting of trust assets, as evidenced by the trust's spend thrift provision."

We can understand why Cissy and the trustee's are concerned about Bobbi Kristina's future since she's so young and all, but they'll have to prove everything in court.

And we seriously hope Bobbi Kristina doesn't take this as some sort of sleight by her family - they just the want best for her, and sometimes that means some tough love.
