Teen Mom's Amber Portwood Working Hard To Become 'A Better Person'

Amber Portwood knows she hasn't been there for her daughter Leah as much as she should've been - especially now that she's in prison, she never sees her at all.
But a source close to her says that Amber's definitely trying to reverse course on her life, and the results so far have been impressive.
“Amber is well aware she hasn’t exactly been the model mom for Leah, and she will do anything to make it right. It took time, but she’s now taking a hard, long look at herself in the mirror and realizing she needs to make it up to her daughter. The prison offers parenting classes and Amber was quick to sign up for them too – if it helps her be a better mom to Leah, then she thinks it’s worth doing."
Her inspirational actions have affected more people than just herself, but her family, as well!
Here's what her brother said:
"When the clip of the special aired the other night I was extremely sad. It hurt to know that she was in there and that I would not be able to see her for a minimum of two more years. I was literally brought to tears when I saw her part and the part with my mom talking about her being in jail."
Oh shizz, now we're getting choked up. We really hope Amber keeps up the promising advancements she's made since she's been in the big house.
We're sure if she does - they'll most likely even reduce her sentence, and she'll be able to see her daughter Leah faster than ever!
