Twilight star Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth have only been divorced 7 months.
It's hard enough to get used to being alone again, but when you have to raise kids by yourself part time it can be doubly difficult. Peter says:
"When you're going through it yourself, you have to take it day by day."
It may be triply difficult in Peter's case, as he is co-parenting 3 daughters!
So does Dad have any favorite activities for father-daughter bonding time with Luca, Lola, and Fiona? He says:
"I take the girls RV-ing all the time. There's a lot of s'mores-making and singing by the campfire. It's something about being in the woods. It slows everything down and you're a part of nature and just spending time with your family. It's pretty great."
He sounds like a good dad! Does he have any tips for all the other divorced dads out there? He says:
"Co-parenting takes two great parents to put their differences aside and focus on the children, and that's what I've been doing."
Focus on the kids sounds great to us! Also, giving them s'mores…
