Well what can we say?!
NOBODY is immune from the innate catchiness of Carly Rae Jepsen's break-out smash Call Me Maybe - apparently, not even three-year-olds!
Just ask Ben Affleck, who was busy promoting his new film Argo, on Anderson Live, when he revealed that during a recent phone-call home to his family, he was serenaded to the track via the vocal stylingz of his middle child, Seraphina!
"I said, 'Can I talk to my six-year-old' and she said, 'Yeah' and we chatted. I said, 'Can I talk to the younger one' and she just got on the phone and said, 'Hey Papa, I just met you. This is crazy, call me maybe.' I was like, 'This is horrible, how is my three-year-old listening to the pop station?"
Oh man! And she's not even just listening!
She's even applying the content of the song to a real life situation!
LOLz! That gurl is one smart cookie!
Meanwhile, the actor-director went on to praise his wife, Jennifer Garner, for picking up some of his parenting slack while he's on the road, but also revealed some of the difficult duties he undertakes while he's around!
"[Fatherhood] is a lot of work. My wife is a saint and does so much of the work because I am inept and she's a genius. I have these three amazing kids, but they fight and torture each other."
"I participate in the tea parties and doll games until I feel like my insanity is truly at risk. I don't know yet [how Samuel will be older], but right now he is just a fat guy who looks like a 1930s slugger. We'll see — I'll let you know."
We love that despite their high-profile status, Ben and Jen always seem first and foremost committed to their children, and making sure they are raised with love, structure, and apparently, Call Me Maybe!
And it certainly shows on their kids! You can't fake smiles like that!
Keep it up, you guys!
